(NLDO) – Mr. Le Van Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, came to encourage and give gifts to twin brothers with outstanding academic achievements.
On the afternoon of January 28 (December 29), Mr. Le Van Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, visited and presented gifts to twin students Nguyen Tri Hien and Nguyen Tri Hau, grade 11 specialized in Mathematics, Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted, Quang Nam province.
Mr. Le Van Dung, Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, gave gifts to encourage brothers Tri Hien and Tri Hau.
Nguyen Tri Hien and Nguyen Tri Hau (Truong Loc village, Tam Thanh commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province) are 2 of 16 students who won first prize in Mathematics at the National Excellent Student Competition for the 2024-2025 school year with quite high scores: Tri Hau scored 30.5 points, Tri Hien scored 28.5 points.
The joy continued when the two brothers were just summoned by the Ministry of Education and Training to participate in the second round of selection for the national team to compete in the 2025 International Olympics.
On the last afternoon of the year, Hien and Hau's family was very surprised when the leaders of Quang Nam province and teachers came to visit and encourage the two brothers to try to achieve good results to be on the national team to compete in the 2025 International Olympics.
Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung talked and encouraged the two brothers.
Recalling the achievements of Quang Nam students such as Do Phu Quoc, a 12th grader specializing in Chemistry at Le Thanh Tong High School for the Gifted, who won a Silver medal at the 2024 International Chemistry Olympiad, Mr. Le Van Dung hoped that Tri Hien and Tri Hau would study hard to achieve good results, continuing to inherit and promote the tradition of the Quang Nam learning land.
Leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Nam province and representatives of BIN Corporation presented gifts to the family of Hien and Hau.
"The provincial leaders highly welcome and commend the sense of responsibility of the family, especially the mother of the two children who has always worked hard to raise her children and study very well. I hope the two children will try to study well and have good health to have the conditions to fly high and far" - Mr. Le Van Dung encouraged.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province presented 20 million VND to the two brothers Hien and Hau. Mr. Thai Viet Tuong, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Nam province, presented 10 million VND and Mr. Le Hung Anh, Chairman of BIN Corporation presented 20 million VND to the family of the two children.
