(CLO) March activities "Youth with traditional culture" at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism include practical and meaningful activities associated with the love and responsibility of the young generation for national culture.


On February 28, the Management Board of the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism announced that from March 1-31, at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi), activities will take place in March with the theme "Youth with traditional culture".

The highlight of the March activities is the program "Colors of Mong ethnic culture, Nghe An province" with the theme "Experience traditional culture with Mong ethnic people in Nghe An".

In this program, the public will participate in the reenactment of an excerpt from the New Year's Eve ceremony. This is an indispensable religious ceremony during the New Year, the most important of which is the ancestor worship ceremony that takes place on New Year's Eve.

During these days, Mong people, even though they work far away, return home to gather with their families and relatives to prepare for the new year celebration in a warm and united atmosphere.

The ceremony is performed according to the traditions of the Mong people in Nghe An. After the ceremony, there will be a folk song and dance exchange of the Mong people and traditional folk games, including games such as playing the gong, throwing pao, dancing the panpipe and singing cuxia, singing duet... The Mong people gather together to celebrate the new year of peace and prosperity.

Within the framework of the activities of the Mong ethnic cultural colors program, the public also enjoyed the folk song and dance exchange program "Spring Festival of the mountains and forests".

This is a program of singing, dancing, and music by Mong ethnic artists through musical activities and performances telling the story of the beauty of the mountains and forests when spring comes. At the same time, listen to the locals introduce the Khen and watch the Khen dance performance, participate in the Pao throwing festival (bo bo throwing) and experience the traditional culture of the Mong people.

In addition, every weekend, there will be folk song and dance programs and activities of artisan groups operating daily in the Village.

The highlight is the program “March of the Central Highlands - I am the Po Lang flower” of the Central Highlands ethnic groups; introducing the beauty of Central Highlands women through the “I am the Po Lang flower” costumes.

This program performs folk songs, folk dances, and musical instruments of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands with new vitality and inspiration.

Besides, there is the folk song and dance program “The season of blooming Ban flowers” ​​with the participation of ethnic minorities from the North who are active every day in the Village. Through musical and performing activities, the people tell the story of Ban flowers, the beauty of the Northwest mountains and forests when the Ban flowers bloom, stories about spring, about love.

Visitors experience the art photo exhibition space at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

The Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village said that these programs will be prioritized to be organized on the anniversaries of March 8 and March 26, and will focus on introducing the virtues of women, the family happiness of ethnic minorities and the young generation, and exchange and experience activities of youth groups, students and pupils.

Participating in the series of activities were about 100 people of 16 ethnic groups living in the Village and about 30 Tay and Nung people from Thai Nguyen province; 30 Mong ethnic artisans from Nghe An province.
