Lo Lo Chai Village is enchantingly beautiful on the rocky plateau of Ha Giang

Lo Lo Chai is a bright spot in community tourism development in the Dong Van stone plateau. The village is located near the northernmost point of the country, about 150km from the center of Ha Giang city on a steep mountain pass. And especially from any location in the village, visitors can see the flagpole standing tall on the top of Dragon Mountain (Long Son). During the 5 days of traveling, Duc had the opportunity to explore many villages of the rocky plateau, of which Lo Lo Chai was also a highlight of this journey. Photo: Hoang Minh Duc Currently, Lo Lo Chai has 119 households with about 540 people, of which more than 40 households provide homestay services, 5 households operate restaurants. Holidays and weekends are usually more crowded, with an average of 100-200 guests staying on weekdays. Despite many years, the simple, rustic appearance of these traditional houses still fascinates visitors. Although the homestay service has been in operation for several years, indigenous cultural values are still preserved. In spring, every corner is filled with the pink color of peach blossoms, in summer, the corn fields are cool and green, in autumn and winter, the fields start to shine again with buckwheat flowers and yellow mustard flowers.
