The first conference on artificial intelligence took place in Vietnam

For the first time, GenAI Summit 2024 will be held in Vietnam. Accordingly, tomorrow (August 18), GenAI Summit 2024 will open in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on key issues including GenAI Platform Model, GenAI Practical Applications and Opportunities for Vietnam.

The GenAI Summit 2024 with the theme “New Horizons” will feature Jeff Dean, Google’s Chief Scientist, co-founder of Google Brain, Google Translate, Gemini and many products that have helped Google dominate the global technology industry.

AI Summit is an annual event organized by New Turing Institute starting in 2018 to create a platform to connect the domestic artificial intelligence community with experts around the world.

After many years of successful organization, AI Summit has become a meaningful science and technology event with a prominent position in Southeast Asia.

The GenAI Summit 2024, organized for the first time in Vietnam by the New Turing Institute (NTI) and Rethink Healthcare Foundation (RHF), is an international event, welcoming the participation of more than 1,000 direct guests, including speakers who are leading experts shaping the future of AI, business "tycoons", and pioneering intellectuals in AI research.

GenAI Summit 2024 will focus on three main topics, including: “GenAI Platform Model,” “GenAI Practical Applications,” and “Opportunities for Vietnam.”

In the “GenAI Foundational Model” section, speakers who are professors, researchers, and scientists will share in depth about the advanced technologies that drive the development of LLM (Large Language Model).

In “Practical Applications of GenAI,” senior business leaders will discuss the transformational potential and applications of GenAI in healthcare, education, and social life.

The conference will conclude with the theme “Opportunities for Vietnam,” where investors and leaders of major domestic and foreign AI corporations will discuss the impact of GenAI on Vietnam’s technological and economic growth, as well as Vietnam’s opportunities and challenges on its path to becoming one of the leading countries in AI.

The list of speakers includes Dr. Jeff Dean, Chief Scientist at Google, Dr. Luong Minh Thang, Senior Researcher and Senior Manager at Google DeepMind, co-founder of New Turing Institute, Leader of Alpha Geometry, silver medalist at the 2024 International Mathematical Olympiad, and other world-class AI speakers who will share and lead guests to explore the latest advances, outstanding trends and limitless potential of Generative AI technology.
