Prepare well and successfully organize the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Dak Nong Province

On September 25, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Congress Steering Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh chaired a meeting to listen to a report on preparations for the 4th Dak Nong Provincial Ethnic Minority Congress.

Comrade Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, Head of Provincial Congress Steering Committee delivered concluding remarks at the meeting.

As planned, the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Dak Nong province will be held on October 15 and 16, 2024, with the participation of 329 delegates, including 250 official delegates and 79 invited delegates.

Comrade Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Congress Steering Committee chaired the meeting.

To date, 8/8 districts and cities have completed the organization of the congress. The documents directing and operating the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Dak Nong province have been basically completed.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and agreeing on a number of contents regarding the organization of the congress such as the overall plan of the congress program; assigning tasks for the implementation of the Congress document content, personnel, emulation and rewards; logistics, reception, security, propaganda and cultural exchange programs, etc.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Congress Steering Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh requested relevant units to complete all stages and do a good job of preparation to successfully organize the congress.

In her concluding remarks, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Congress Steering Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh emphasized that the congress is an important event, with profound political and social significance for ethnic minorities in the province. Through the congress, a joyful and exciting atmosphere is created, contributing to encouraging and motivating ethnic minorities to strive to rise up, escape poverty, build new rural areas, and develop their homeland.

The Provincial Ethnic Committee received comments from members of the Steering Committee and agencies at the meeting to complete the stages and do a good job of preparing for the successful organization of the congress. The member agencies of the Steering Committee continued to coordinate with the Provincial Ethnic Committee to complete the assigned tasks according to the plan.
