Celebrating 30 years of establishment of Ha Giang Lottery Company

BHG - On the morning of March 23, Ha Giang Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company (XSKT) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 30th anniversary (March 24, 1995 - March 24, 2025). Attending the ceremony were comrades: Thao Hong Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Manh Loi, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Ha Thi Minh Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Lottery Supervisory Council; leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors; representatives of the Northern Lottery, 27 member companies of the Northern bloc.

Ha Giang Lottery Company was established on March 24, 1995, formerly the Lottery Board under the Department of Finance and Prices of the province with a system of over 20 ticket sales agents. Total operating revenue in the first 10 years reached 39.7 billion VND, contributing 600 million VND/year to the state budget. In 2008, Ha Giang Lottery Company changed its name to Ha Giang Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company under the direct management of the Provincial People's Committee with many changes, operating independently. Especially from 2010 to present, the company continues to develop comprehensively in terms of organization, management and operation; total revenue of the period reached 1,300 billion VND, contributing 286 billion VND to the budget. Currently, the average income of agents reaches 3.5 million VND/agent/month, creating jobs for over 400 local workers.

After 30 years of establishment, Ha Giang Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company has continuously grown and developed, with basic indicators such as: Revenue, budget payment, profit, employee income... all increasing dramatically. The total revenue of the whole company reached more than 1,153 billion VND, paying 332.5 billion VND to the state budget.

With its continuous efforts, Ha Giang Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company was awarded the Second and Third Class Labor Medals by the President; the Prime Minister, central ministries, branches and the Provincial People's Committee awarded many noble titles. Not only achieving high achievements in business, the company also performed well in social security work, deducting from the salaries of officers and employees, welfare fund expenses and mobilizing and supporting over 5 billion VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Lottery Supervisory Board Ha Thi Minh Hanh acknowledged, praised and highly appreciated the results that Ha Giang Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company has achieved in the past 30 years, contributing to the overall development of the province. Notably, the spirit of effort, active application of science and technology, digital transformation, creating development resources, becoming an effective state-owned enterprise. Revenues from lottery have greatly contributed to the construction of medical, educational, and social welfare projects, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
