On the afternoon of August 14, the Department of Transport held a conference to disseminate and sign a commitment to comply with legal regulations on business, conditions for transport business and ensuring traffic safety and order (ATGT) with transport businesses in the province.

Attending the event were leaders of the Provincial Police, Department of Transport, Department of Information and Communications; leaders of the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police); police of districts and cities; transport units and bus stations in the province.

Thai Binh province has 1,165 transport business units with 5,767 vehicles; of which 1,861 are passenger transport vehicles and 3,906 are freight transport vehicles.

At the conference, organizations, individuals doing transportation business and drivers were informed about some regulations in transportation business activities; the situation of compliance with the law on business and conditions for transportation business of transportation business units... In which, representatives of functional sectors and enterprises focused on discussing violations related to passenger transportation activities, the situation of "illegal buses, illegal stations", and disguised contract vehicles operating in a complicated manner in the province.

Through this activity, we aim to contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and law enforcement in the field of traffic. At the same time, we aim to raise awareness and self-consciousness of law compliance for drivers and vehicle owners, passenger transport and container freight transport businesses; build a traffic culture in the community and prevent violations of traffic laws.
