On the afternoon of May 17, Mr. Ho Van Huan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Mr. Nguyen Van Liet - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of relevant departments and branches, had a working session with Long Ho district on the progress of building a new rural district.
Up to now, Long Ho district has 10/14 communes meeting NTM standards, of which 5 communes meet advanced NTM standards. The remaining 4 communes meet 10-12 criteria. The district is striving to build communes meeting NTM standards according to the roadmap, including Thanh Duc commune (2023), An Binh commune (2024), Dong Phu and Long An communes (2025).
Currently, the district is facing difficulties in improving the quality of traffic criteria due to insufficient funding. In addition, there is no capital to build the district Cultural Center. Regarding the rate of schools meeting the required infrastructure standards, it is currently only 33.3% (the regulation is 60%).

Therefore, the district recommends paying attention to supporting Hoa Ninh and Phu Quoi High Schools to meet national standards. At the same time, it recommends that the capital requirement to build the district to meet NTM standards is 304 billion VND to invest in the fields of transportation, culture, education and training.

At the same time, the district should continue to promote propaganda and mobilize people to join hands to implement internal criteria, especially mobilizing people's strength in building rural transport, environment and food safety.
Speed up the construction progress of basic construction projects when capital has been disbursed. On the part of provincial departments, it is necessary to do a good job of advising and supporting the district in implementing criteria for transportation, schools, and cultural facilities.
