Almost every theater staged two consecutive performances a day from the 1st to the 10th, and Theater 5B even had three performances a day. People's Artist My Uyen said: "Because there are many children's plays, we shorten the schedule, adding morning and afternoon shows for the convenience of the children, while the evening shows are for adults." This year, Theater 5B staged both new children's plays like "The Magic Pen" and revived old ones like "The Animal Rescue Station" and "Toy World - The Story of the Dragon Boy."

IDECAF, Thế Giới Trẻ, Hồng Vân, and Thiên Đăng theaters were the biggest winners, thanks to their star-studded casts and their choice of lighthearted, humorous plays that suited the spring atmosphere. Hồng Vân's theater, in particular, staged horror plays like "The Ghost Wife" and "The Silent Room," a unique aspect of their Lunar New Year theater. People's Artist Hồng Vân said: "The revenue from horror plays is just as good as from comedies. Where there's demand, there's supply; we just meet the audience's needs." Hoàng Thái Thanh theater chose a tragedy like "Short and Long Strands of Hair," and the audience still bought almost all the tickets. Director Ái Như affirmed: "Too much laughter requires some crying to balance it out; it's a natural psychological law. Every theater has its own audience."
Quoc Thao's theater recently moved to its new location in Phu Nhuan, but it's already attracting a large audience. Director Quoc Thao said: "The afternoon shows are very crowded, even more so than the evening shows. Perhaps it's because people find it more convenient to attend in the afternoon, as they'll have more time in the evening to admire the brightly lit streets."
