Inauguration of Phase 1 - Nghi Son High-Tech Mechanical Factory

On the morning of March 10, Dai Dung Construction and Trading Mechanical Joint Stock Company (Dai Dung Group) held the inauguration ceremony of phase 1 of Nghi Son High-Tech Mechanical Factory, invested and built in Nghi Son Economic Zone (KKTNS), Thanh Hoa province.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Le Tien Lam, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Thi, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vu Van Tung, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Nguyen Tien Hieu, Head of the Management Board of the Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of the province; comrade Mai Van Hai, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

The ceremony was also attended by partners, contractors, and local authorities in the investment and construction project area.

From a small mechanical workshop, after 30 years, Dai Dung Group has become a corporation manufacturing mechanical products, steel structures serving many industries, participating in the construction of more than 4,000 works and projects around the world. The Group has created many jobs for workers and values ​​for society through large projects in the fields of: Energy (drilling rigs, petrochemical refineries); hydroelectricity, thermal power, wind power, civil works; logistics works, transportation, infrastructure (airports, stadiums), industrial works (metallurgy, mining) ... Up to now, Dai Dung Group's products have been present in more than 50 countries and territories around the world.

Nghi Son High-Tech Mechanical Factory was approved for investment by the Provincial People's Committee on June 27, 2023, and was granted a construction license by the Provincial Economic Zones and Industrial Parks Board on May 4, 2024.

Phase 1 of the factory is built on a scale of more than 10 hectares, with a total investment of more than 900 billion VND and a designed capacity of 50,000 tons of products/year. The factory is invested in a system of modern machinery and equipment, using clean energy; at the same time, it is a pioneer in applying 4.0 technology, automatic robots, creating an efficient production line, optimizing the process and being granted international certificates and certifications for export to markets in the Americas, Europe, Australia, Japan, the Middle East... In particular, Nghi Son High-Tech Mechanical Factory is provided with green capital by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam because the project is designed, built and operated to meet the criteria of achieving the gold standard for green buildings (LEED Gold) of the US Green Building Council.

When put into operation, Nghi Son High-Tech Mechanical Factory will meet the needs of assembling and combining super-sized and super-heavy components. Of which, about 70% of the products will be exported to international markets through Nghi Son seaport, 30% will be consumed in the domestic market. The factory will contribute to raising the brand of industrial production in Thanh Hoa province and creating jobs for thousands of local workers.

On this occasion, Dai Dung Group donated 3 billion VND to sponsor the care and nurturing of 365 orphans in Thanh Hoa province in 2025; presented Yen Dinh District General Hospital with a high-end 4-probe color ultrasound machine worth 850 million VND; donated 300 million VND to support the repair and purchase of equipment for Hai Binh Ward Kindergarten, Nghi Son town and donated 230 million VND to support the construction of 3 houses and gifts to 100 disadvantaged households in Nghi Son town.

Dai Dung Group donated social security funds to units in Nghi Son town and medical equipment to Yen Dinh District General Hospital.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi praised the efforts of all levels and sectors; especially the staff and workers of Dai Dung Nghi Son Mechanical Engineering Joint Stock Company, the staff, engineers and workers of construction and installation units who have made great efforts, overcome difficulties, and put phase 1 of the project into operation; at the same time, praised the local people for creating favorable conditions during the project implementation process.

Affirming the significance and importance of the project to the socio-economic development of Thanh Hoa province, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the factory to urgently stabilize operations, operate and deploy production to ensure safety and efficiency.

To complete phase 2 and put the entire project into operation, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Management Board of the Economic Zone and industrial parks, local Party committees and authorities to continue to accompany and coordinate with the investor to resolve difficulties and problems; ensure good security, order and social safety, and create all conditions for the investor to implement the project most smoothly.

He also requested Dai Dung Group and Dai Dung Nghi Son Mechanical Engineering Joint Stock Company to focus maximum financial resources, mobilize human resources, equipment and the best machinery to implement construction, ensure project quality, committed progress and comply with legal regulations; absolutely ensure labor safety and environmental sanitation issues, not allowing the construction process to affect the lives, production and activities of people in the project area.
