On the morning of December 8, Hong Phong ward, Dong Trieu city, held the inauguration ceremony of the project to restore and embellish the provincial relic Binh Luc communal house, phase 1.
Binh Luc Communal House is located in Binh Luc Ha area, Hong Phong ward, worshiping Kham Minh Thanh Vu Hien Dao An Sinh Vuong Tran Lieu, father of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan. Binh Luc Communal House is one of the earliest communal houses built in the Northeast region, bearing the architectural style of the village communal house during the Le Trung Hung period. After experiencing historical events, Binh Luc Communal House has deteriorated and is now only a ruin. In the 70s and 80s of the 20th century, the communal house burned down and completely collapsed. In 1995, the people built a small communal house with simple architecture on the foundation of the ancient communal house's rear palace to worship and serve the spiritual needs of the community.
In 2023, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province issued a decision to rank Binh Luc communal house as a provincial relic. On January 29, 2024, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province approved the Project to restore and embellish Binh Luc communal house relic, Hong Phong ward. The project started construction on March 30, 2024 with items: Dai Dinh, Binh Phong - Nghi Mon, fence, road, stele house foundation, guest house.
The project was completed with 100% socialized funding, 1,788 working days of people participating in building the communal house to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of local people, while creating a unique historical and cultural mark of the locality, connecting with the Tran Dynasty National Special Relic Site and the system of relics and scenic spots in Hong Phong ward and Dong Trieu city, developing spiritual and cultural tourism, promoting local socio-economic development.
In the coming time, the locality will continue to promote the propaganda, dissemination and promotion of the relic in many forms and on many different media so that people and tourists will know more and understand more about the values of the relic, thereby raising awareness of protecting the relic. Continue to mobilize resources to restore and preserve the relic, promote historical and cultural values, revolutionary traditions, love for the homeland, arouse the spirit and aspirations of generations of people, mobilize all resources to complete phase 2 of the project as soon as possible.
