Khanh Hoa welcomes 9 millionth tourist in 2024

After the welcoming ceremonies for 180 passengers from Incheon (Korea) on Vietnam Airlines flight VN441, Khanh Hoa province presented special gifts to the 8,999,999th; 9,000,000th and 9,000,001st tourists; and presented gifts to passengers on the flight.

According to the leaders of the tourism industry, through this event, Khanh Hoa province wishes to send the message to domestic and foreign tourists that Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa is always a friendly and hospitable destination. Through this, it also creates connections between agencies, airlines, and tourism businesses in the province, contributing to building the image of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa tourism as "Friendly - Quality - Safe"; aiming to make Khanh Hoa tourism one of the top destinations on the Southeast Asian tourism map.

Also according to Khanh Hoa Tourism, from the beginning of the year until now, the number of overnight visitors reached 9 million, an increase of 57.9% over the same period, reaching 100% of the 2024 plan; of which, international visitors reached 3.6 million, an increase of 147.9%, exceeding 20% ​​of the 2024 plan, domestic visitors reached 5.4 million, an increase of 27.2%, reaching 90% of the 2024 plan.
