The opening ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 with an art program themed "Love confession of the river" and a brilliant fireworks display took place on the evening of March 25, 2025 at the stage on the banks of the Perfume River, in front of Quoc Hoc School, Hue city.
National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 and Hue Festival 2025 are typical cultural-economic-social and tourism events of national and international scale associated with the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Hue city (1975-2025) and other major holidays and anniversaries of the whole country; responding to and welcoming Hue to become a city directly under the Central Government.
This is also an event to introduce and promote tangible and intangible cultural values, resources and unique tourism products of Vietnam in general and Hue city in particular; contributing to unlocking resources and exploiting more effectively the potential, strengths and distinct advantages of the city to create a breakthrough development in tourism, attract more domestic and international tourists, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development./.
