At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Finance reported on the draft Economic Growth Scenario of Khanh Hoa province in 2025. Accordingly, in 2025, Khanh Hoa sets a target of 10.5% growth in Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). Of which, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector will increase by 3.5%; the industry - construction sector will increase by 14.6%; the service sector will increase by 9.2%; product taxes minus product subsidies will increase by 7.7%. It is expected that the GRDP of the first quarter of 2025 will increase by 10.5%, the second quarter will increase by 10.4%, the third quarter will increase by 10.6% and the fourth quarter will increase by 10.5%.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam, along with leaders of departments and branches, discussed solutions for Khanh Hoa to achieve the above growth target. Accordingly, in 2025, the province will step up reviewing, supplementing and perfecting institutions; continue to cut and simplify administrative procedures, remove bottlenecks, and create favorable conditions for people and businesses; mobilize and effectively use resources for development; promote growth in key sectors and fields, strongly develop new growth drivers and dynamic regions.
Specifically, in the agricultural sector, we will focus on effectively implementing the pilot project on high-tech marine aquaculture and solutions to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing; focus on transforming the structure of crops and livestock, improving productivity and product value; promote linkages in production, processing and consumption of products...
In the industrial sector, the province will strongly develop the manufacturing and processing industry; increase support for enterprises to improve the quality and expand the market for the province's highly competitive industrial products such as bird's nest, seafood processing, and ships; promote the attraction and filling of industrial parks (IPs) and industrial clusters (ICs) to increase production capacity for the industry; promote investment in infrastructure of IPs and ICs: Nam Cam Ranh, Cam Thanh Nam, Cam Thinh Dong and other IPs and ICs according to the approved planning.
