Cau Hon, located in Hoang Hon town in Phu Quoc, is expected to become an attractive destination for tourists on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 because of its romantic beauty.
Located right in the center of Hoang Hon town (An Thoi, Phu Quoc), the Kiss bridge has received attention for its unique values in terms of structure, materials, design style and the love story it conveys. The project was designed by architect Marco Casamonti (Italy). Tourist Pham Thuy (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) was impressed by the unique appearance of the bridge, which has a romantic look, containing many meaningful images of love, leaving an impression on visitors.
The structure is made up of two branches of the bridge, each 400m long, meeting halfway up the ocean but not touching, 30cm apart. If two people walk from two ends of the bridge, they will meet in the middle, touch each other, exchange a kiss, but not cross to the other side. Tourist Hoang Nam (21 years old, Hanoi) shared that the two branches of the bridge look like a silk strip, sometimes like a spaceship landing from a strange planet. From another angle, the two ends of the bridge look like two dolphins. The architecture of this bridge really stimulates the imagination of many people.
According to the architects, what makes the bridge different is that the architecture is precisely “crafted” to the centimeter so that the two branches of the bridge are balanced with the most beautiful falling point for the sunset moment. From there, it evokes the story of love, the connection between people and people, people and the universe. The Kissing Bridge also honors the romantic sunset moments of Phu Quoc, of the subjects standing on it.
If the Kissing Bridge is compared by many tourists as a work of art, then the town of Sunset is a "giant museum", where each architectural work, each wall or road around the town has its own beauty.
Sunset Town is reminiscent of famous coastal cities around the world. Visitors can see a bit of the architecture of the famous town of Sorrento in Italy, which has a long Amalfi Coast with impressive rows of colorful houses, or a bit of Santorini - the island located on the remnants of a beautiful arc-shaped volcano in the southern Aegean Sea with rows of white houses, blue domes and many ancient ruins.
Here, visitors will encounter many colorful walls with 9 layers of antique paint theming technique, statues with strong Roman imprints, giant reliefs with classical Greco style on sandstone, made by Vietnamese sculptors, or murals telling ancient Vietnamese stories in the language of unique world culture.
The local character of this town is also shown through the sunshade eaves, the green gardens with many flowers and grass, the windows are designed smaller than those in ancient towns abroad to suit the weather of Vietnam. In addition, many works of art contain the heritage of Vietnamese culture, such as the relief of the epic poem Dam San, or the murals recreating folk culture in the drawings of Hung Dua, Mi Chau - Trong Thuy...
During holidays and Tet, visitors will see the streets bright and vibrant with performances from international dancers and artists, or the Fashion Voyage fashion show. Every day, the Kiss The Stars program will perform multimedia technology on the sea screen to tell a romantic love story through the art of light, fire and water.
Sun Group representatives expect that when the Kiss Bridge is inaugurated, this place will become a meeting place for world-class shows and Sunset Town will be a mecca for “art parties”. Previously, the Kiss The Stars multimedia stage in Sunset Town was the venue for the first show in the Fashion Voyage No.5 program on April 7-8.
