Originating from the idea of “turning waste into gold” and environmentally friendly products, Thanh Tung 2 Company Limited was established with an area of nearly 10 hectares, including a waste recycling and treatment area; a waste landfill area; a wastewater and liquid waste treatment area containing hazardous components...
During its operation, the company has always focused on researching and applying new technologies in environmental protection to meet customer requirements. Currently, the company has been chosen by many businesses to sign contracts for collecting, transporting and treating waste in Dong Nai and neighboring provinces, including major brands such as Samsung, Toshiba, Nike, Adidas... and industrial parks: Amata, Bien Hoa II, Loteco, Bien Hoa I, Long Thanh, Nhon Trach...
The factory has a recycling capacity, processing 40 tons of industrial waste/day and 91 tons of hazardous waste/day. With modern, synchronous technological lines such as: Scrap sorting and packaging system; plastic recycling; battery processing; lead recycling... the products are utilized by the factory, processed and recycled effectively, contributing to reducing environmental pollution and bringing revenue to the unit.
Currently, Thanh Tung 2 is one of the large-scale industrial waste and hazardous waste treatment facilities in Dong Nai licensed to practice industrial waste management by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; certified "Applying a management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001 Standard" by NQA Organization.
The company has effectively applied a number of environmental treatment solutions such as semi-automatic technology for treating packaging and drums contaminated with hazardous waste; recycling waste oil.
With the idea that waste from one industry is raw material for another, the company has successfully manufactured many useful products from waste, one of which is construction materials such as: roof tiles, rubber bricks made from plastic waste; recycled bricks, tiles made from sludge, ash and sand.
These products have all been tested for safety and durability. Notably, the line of rubber bricks and tiles can withstand hail and strong impacts and can be used in areas with harsh weather and frequent natural disasters.
There are also about 25-30 recycled products from trash such as: flower pots, multi-colored wall panels, shelves, wheel chocks, speed bumps...
At the end of December 2021, the first batch of plywood panels recycled from industrial plastic waste of Thanh Tung 2 Company Limited was exported to Scotland. The event opened a new direction for this enterprise in recycling plastic waste to make furniture.
To do this, in addition to many years of experience in waste recycling, the company has transferred processes and technology from Reform Plastic Company - a company specializing in waste recycling from Germany.
According to the quality testing results of the Quality Measurement Technical Center 3 under the General Department of Standards and Quality Measurement and the Polymer Materials Research Center (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology), the recycled plastic plywood products of Thanh Tung 2 Company Limited all meet the quality standards in terms of durability, safety for users' health and the environment. In 2023, the company plans to export about 4,000 plywood panels to the markets of Scotland, Korea and Spain...
Following the success, Thanh Tung 2 Company Limited launched 3D paintings recycled from plastic waste. This is considered a new step forward in waste recycling in Dong Nai.
Each month, the company produces an average of 120 tons of recycled plastic waste into hundreds of paintings of all kinds according to customer orders. In addition, Thanh Tung 2's recycled plastic plywood can also be used to replace tables, chairs, library cabinets, book shelves, etc. for students in flood-affected areas.
Over the years, Thanh Tung 2 Company Limited has continuously researched, learned and innovated to apply waste recycling technology to the factory's reality. Existing recycling technologies include: recycling electronic components, collecting and recycling end-of-life motorbikes, recycling waste oil, recycling waste solvents, recycling drums...
