On April 14, at the Provincial Sports Stadium, the Ninh Binh City People's Committee coordinated with the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association and the Trang An Antiques Association to organize the opening of the Ornamental Plants Exhibition of the provinces in the extended Red River Delta region with the theme "Quintessence of the Ancient Capital" to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

This Bonsai Exhibition is large-scale, gathering many quintessential, high-quality bonsai products, diverse in product types from associations, craft villages, clubs, bonsai artisans from 15 provinces and cities across the country; 8 districts, cities, 6 bonsai clubs in the province and many typical gardeners. More than 1,000 works on display at the Exhibition are mainly bonsai art, antiques, ornamental rocks, precious stones, driftwood, miniatures of many typical artisans, famous gardeners across the country. These are unique works of art, contributing to spreading the beauty of "truth, goodness, beauty", imbued with deep humanity and philosophy.
In recent years, along with other localities in the country, the movement of planting and caring for flowers and ornamental plants in Ninh Binh province has increasingly developed; many associations, gardeners, and Ninh Binh people have developed their economy through ornamental plants. Ninh Binh has famous craft villages such as Ninh Phuc flower village - Ninh Binh city, Tam Diep peach blossom, flower and ornamental plant growing villages in Yen Mo and Yen Khanh districts. In particular, tourists to Ninh Binh can not only visit scenic spots and historical sites but also admire unique and attractive ornamental gardens and bonsai works. In the Project on Developing the Flower and Ornamental Plant Industry to 2030, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has identified Ninh Binh as one of the key provinces and cities in the country for growing ornamental plants.
In order for the profession of growing and caring for ornamental plants to gradually develop and truly become a highly profitable economic sector, in addition to the efforts of gardeners and ornamental plant artisans in increasing investment in infrastructure and applying new technologies, the Provincial People's Committee has implemented many solutions, creating a healthy environment and playground, with the spirit of accompanying businesses and people.
