Tourists to Quang Binh on the occasion of Tet Giap Thin 2024 increased sharply

From February 8 to February 14 (ie December 29, Quy Mao year to the 5th day of the Giap Thin New Year), the total number of tourists to Quang Binh province is estimated at about 115,000, an increase of 4.5% compared to the Quy Mao New Year, of which international visitors are about 3,000. Tourist attractions, accommodation facilities, tourism service providers during Tet, and adventure tourism products have organized New Year tours to serve domestic and international tourists.

Tourist destinations are mainly the Tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap, Phong Nha Cave, Thien Duong Cave, Hoang Phuc Pagoda, Lieu Hanh Holy Mother Temple, Than Dinh Mountain, Ho Chi Minh Square, fireworks displays in Dong Hoi City, Tan Hoa Tourist Village... Tourists from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi City and neighboring provinces, travel in families, small groups, using personal vehicles or trains and planes.

According to statistics, the average room occupancy rate in Quang Binh province is about 35%. Many accommodation establishments have organized activities to serve tourists such as: year-end parties, New Year's Eve parties, and New Year's gifts for international guests.
