(PLVN) - Phong Nha - Ke Bang World Natural Heritage has just welcomed the first group of tourists in 2025.
On the morning of January 1, the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board held a ceremony to welcome the first visitors to the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park World Natural Heritage in 2025. This is one of the activities in a series of events to promote the image and tourism throughout Quang Binh province.

On the first day of the new year, Phong Nha - Ke Bang Heritage welcomed 68 visitors. |
On this occasion, there were 68 visitors coming to visit, including 36 international visitors from Malaysia, Australia, Japan, Canada, UK and 32 domestic visitors from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Quang Ninh, Nghe An.
On the first day of visiting Phong Nha - Ke Bang World Natural Heritage, visitors were given flowers and lucky money.
The group chose to join the route connecting Phong Nha Cave - Song Chay, Dark Cave by river.

Here, visitors will experience a cruise on the Son River and Chay River, learn about the peaceful and rustic life of the local people, admire Phong Nha - the "First Wonder Cave", zipline, SUP/kayak, slide, Sasuke Bridge jumping, and other river games... and receive special gifts from Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center in early spring.
As part of a series of events to promote and attract tourism, flight VN1404 of Vietnam Airlines departing from Tan Son Nhat Airport, Ho Chi Minh City landed at Dong Hoi Airport at 8:35 this morning.

The flight had 80 passengers, including many tourists from southern provinces and cities and 4 international tourists who were the first to visit Quang Binh.
At the pick-up points, representatives of the Department of Tourism, Tourism Association, Dong Hoi Airport, and Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board presented flowers, congratulated the tourists, and expressed hope that the guests would have interesting and memorable experiences during their journey to explore Quang Binh.

In 2024, the total number of tourists to Quang Binh will be about 5.2 million, an increase of 15.3% compared to 2023. Quang Binh tourism continues to affirm its position and brand on the tourism map of Vietnam, the region and the world; receiving attention and high appreciation from tourists and domestic and foreign magazines. In 2025, Quang Binh tourism aims to welcome 5.5 million visitors, including 160,000 international visitors. |
