With great potential in the field of tourism development, Quang Binh has many attractive destinations for domestic and international tourists, especially the World Natural Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, twice honored by UNESCO, the first Heritage in Southeast Asia to achieve 3/4 criteria for a World Natural Heritage, along with a majestic limestone mountain system.
Based on these advantages, Quang Binh has focused on exploiting and developing outstanding tourism products to serve tourists, bringing high efficiency, such as putting into operation tourist routes to explore Chay River - Dark Cave, Thien Duong Cave, Phong Nha Cave, explore Tu Lan cave system, etc.
In particular, Quang Binh owns the international-class tourist route "Conquering Son Doong - the world's largest cave" which has attracted millions of people around the world. Reality has proven that Quang Binh tourism has successfully built many new products, suitable for the socio-economic development trend of the province.
With a land and water surface area of 48,500m2 in Truong Xuan commune (Quang Ninh), located 40km southwest of Dong Hoi city, Khe Nuoc Lanh Eco-tourism Area has been built and put into operation based on the synchronous development of tourism products, on the basis of exploiting the advantages of available natural potential near Quang Ninh district and Le Thuy district, connecting into a series of destinations in the region such as Bang hot spring, General Vo Nguyen Giap Memorial House, Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh Tomb, Hoang Phuc Pagoda, Than Dinh mountain, exploring the Cha Loi cave system...

Khe Nuoc Lanh flows through Ngan Thuy commune (Le Thuy), Truong Xuan commune (Quang Ninh) with a wild and astonishing beauty, in the middle of a vast primeval forest, fresh air, a clear stream flowing through the crevices of rocks, when encountering large rocks, the stream becomes beautiful small waterfalls, creating an unforgettable impression on visitors.
The tourist area has put into operation items such as treehouses, hillside houses, restaurants, water games (kayaks, rafting, high wire and short zipline, river bathing...), overnight camping area... each activity is extremely meaningful and brings memorable experiences to tourists' vacations.
With the policy of taking advantage of existing landscapes in the form of eco-tourism to serve domestic and foreign tourists, investors mainly use environmentally friendly materials such as bamboo, wood, leaves... limiting the use of cement and steel.
This is an investment project with the aim of synchronously developing various types of tourism products to meet the increasing needs of tourists on the basis of exploiting and protecting natural resources, aiming at developing green tourism and sustainable tourism.

Khe Nuoc Lanh Eco-tourism Area is expected to bring about efficiency in the socio-economic development of Quang Ninh district in particular and Quang Binh province in general. Khe Nuoc Lanh will be a resort connecting tourist destinations in the region, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, increasing revenue for the tourism industry.
In addition, using local labor for direct departments, and conducting training and coaching of local personnel for higher management positions, will contribute to job creation and increase the State budget.
In the coming time, the tourist area will continue to focus on maintaining and embellishing the natural landscape, closely associated with preserving and promoting local cultural values, focusing on mobilizing resources to promote the image of the tourist area. Strengthening tourism, resort, entertainment and recreation activities to meet the needs of many customers everywhere and suitable for each age group.
It is known that during the recent peak days, Khe Nuoc Lanh welcomed about 400-500 guests/day and created jobs for over 150 workers living locally.
