According to the Examination Regulations, within 15 days from the date of announcement of the results, candidates have the right to request a review of their exam papers. The Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, will issue certificates to the winning students, and the remaining students will also be recognized with certificates of having attended the exam.
The National High School Excellent Student Competition is held annually to encourage teachers and students to develop their creativity, teach well, and study well. The competition contributes to promoting the improvement and enhancement of the quality of teaching and learning, the quality of management and direction of educational management at all levels. Through the competition, students with aptitude in subjects are also discovered to nurture, create resources, and realize the goal of training talents for the country.
According to the plan, in March 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will organize an exam to select high school students for national teams to compete in regional and international Olympics in 2025, for the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Informatics.
A notable point is that this year's National High School Student Selection Exam is the first year that the Ministry of Education and Training has applied the method of transporting exam questions through the Government Cipher Committee's system nationwide. The smooth transportation of exam questions and organization of the exam are important premises for implementing the method of transporting exam questions through the Government Cipher Committee's system for the High School Graduation Exam from 2025 and the National High School Student Selection Exam in the following years.
