Rashford left Manchester United to join Aston Villa on loan earlier this year after a difficult time under new manager Ruben Amorim.

At the Midlands club, the 1997-born star had an impressive performance (4 assists in 9 matches), contributing to Villa's positive results in both the Premier League and Champions League.

Speaking to the Express , legend Robson said that Rashford should not be satisfied with what is happening at Aston Villa: "I hear many former players saying that Rashford is enjoying himself at Villa Park but I think differently. As a footballer, you will enjoy this sport wherever you are. That should not be used as an excuse for the problems that happened at Man Utd."

Rashford has been in fine form since arriving at Aston Villa.

According to British media, Villa have the right to buy Rashford for £40 million this summer and there is information that the team is ready to make a blockbuster deal with its Manchester partner.

However, according to Robson, Rashford should still return to Manchester United and prove himself as one of the club's outstanding players: "Marcus has extraordinary talent and I believe he should develop his full potential at Manchester United. Rashford belongs at Old Trafford. When he returns, I believe he will have an impressive season."

Rashford scored 30 goals in the 2022/23 season, but in the next season and a half, that number dropped to just 15. The decision to join Aston Villa also helped the 27-year-old regain his place in the national team. Recently, the MU star started and helped the "Three Lions" beat Albania 2-0 in the World Cup qualifiers.
