More than 900 actors participate in the People's Public Security mass art performance

The 13th People's Public Security Mass Art Performance in 2025 - Region 2, with the theme "80 years - Glory of the People's Public Security" opened on the evening of March 22, at the Da Lat Opera House, Da Lat City (Lam Dong).

The festival attracted over 900 actors from 17 troupes from units under the Ministry of Public Security, 4 People's Police schools; police from 11 provinces and cities in the region and mass art troupes from the Vietnam People's Army.

This is one of the opening activities of a series of events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security tradition day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification day, and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Major General, People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay delivered the opening speech of the People's Public Security Art Performance.

At the opening ceremony, Major General, People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee for the Organizing Committee of the Mass Art Performance of the Ministry of Public Security, said: "The performance is a festival for officers and soldiers working in culture and art; it is a practical activity to encourage officers and soldiers in the entire People's Public Security force to enthusiastically compete to achieve achievements on the difficult and arduous front of ensuring security and order. The programs and performances aim to build and spread the beautiful image of brave and humane police officers and soldiers, who forget themselves for the country and serve the people."

The People's Public Security Mass Art Performance has over 900 actors from 17 troupes.

The festival will feature 87 performances, lasting until March 26. The organizers will select the best performances to participate in the final round, which will be held in May 2025 at the Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi.
