Apple Watch will soon be able to set alarms in silent mode
Currently, silent mode on the Apple Watch only provides vibration feedback for all alerts, including alarms, which can be inconvenient for users who need to set an alarm in the morning, especially if the watch is charging near the bed.
With the watchOS 11.4 update, users will be able to enable a sound for their sleep alarm even when in silent mode. This feature can be enabled or disabled for each individual alarm.
To enable silent mode on Apple Watch, users can press the side button to open Control Center and tap the bell icon. Additionally, they can also enable this mode via the Watch app on iPhone.
It's important to note that silent mode only mutes sounds, while vibration alerts remain active. If users want to turn off both sounds and vibrations, they'll need to enable "Do Not Disturb" in Control Center.
The watchOS 11.4 update is expected to be released to users soon. This is a small but useful improvement that makes the Apple Watch more user-friendly and convenient.
