More than 15,000 sunflowers have begun to be planted on the banks of the Saigon River to serve the Tet holiday.

On November 28, more than 15,000 sunflowers began to be planted on the east bank of the Saigon River, Thu Duc City to serve tourists visiting on the occasion of New Year 2024.

According to records, as soon as the trees were transported to the riverbank area, workers used carts to bring them to the planting area, leveled the land, made beds, and quickly planted trees in rows, each tree 50 cm apart.

According to the People's Committee of Thu Duc City, in the first phase, the construction unit will plant more than 15,000 sunflowers to serve tourists visiting on the occasion of New Year 2024. In the second phase, about 20,000 trees will be planted to welcome the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin.
