It is known that U22 Korea has quite a rough preparation for the tournament. The Kimchi team does not have the strongest squad, and does not have an official head coach. U22 Korea is led by a trio of assistants including Lee Chang Hyun, Jo Se Kwon and Kim Dae Hwan.
The U22 Korean team had a short preparation time, starting to gather on March 17 and leaving for China on March 18. Thus, there was almost no time for the U22 Korean team to prepare for this tournament.
Thus, U22 Korea only has about 2 days to practice, study tactics and adapt to competition conditions before taking the field to meet U22 Vietnam.
Through the 2 matches with PVF and Quang Ninh, Coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his colleagues have also found the best squad for the upcoming tournament. Experienced players who played in V.League and major tournaments of U23 Vietnam before such as Nhat Minh, Duc Anh, Hong Phuc, Van Cuong, Phi Hoang, Xuan Tien, Thanh Nhan, Van Truong... will be the main core of U22 Vietnam.
The match between U22 Korea and U22 Vietnam takes place at 2:30 p.m. today (March 20).
