Contest 'Nghe An farmers with safe agricultural products and food in 2023'

On October 31, in Nghia Dan district, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized the contest "Farmers with safe agricultural products and food" in 2023.

The contest aims to promote the objectives of the project to propagate and mobilize farmers to produce, trade and consume safe agricultural products and food in the period of 2020 - 2023. Thereby, creating a healthy and useful playground to raise awareness of responsibility and ethics of farmers in the production, trade and consumption of safe agricultural products and food. Help officials, members and farmers in the area understand the Law on Food Safety and strictly implement the regulations on Food Safety and Hygiene, while actively promoting to the community.

Participating in the competition are 5 teams from 5 commune clusters in Nghia Dan district including: Cluster 1 (communes: Nghia An, Nghia Duc, Nghia Khanh, Nghia Long, Nghia Loc); Cluster 2 (communes: Nghia Hung, Nghia Hieu, Nghia Thanh, Nghia Thinh, Nghia Hong), Cluster 3 (communes: Nghia Minh, Nghia Mai, Nghia Lam, Nghia Yen, Nghia Son), Cluster 4 (communes: Nghia Trung, Nghia Binh, Nghia Hoi, Nghia Dan town), Cluster 5 (communes: Nghia Phu, Nghia Tho, Nghia Loi, Nghia Lac).

The team members are cadres, members, and farmers in communes with branches, professional associations, or communes with agricultural products recognized as OCOP and branches, professional associations in Nghia Dan district.

The teams went through 4 parts, including: Greeting farmers; presentation on OCOP products; joint answering and joint competition.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to cluster 2 communes, the second prize to cluster 5, the third prize to cluster 1 and 2 consolation prizes to the remaining teams.

On the sidelines of the contest is a program displaying and introducing safe agricultural and food products of Nghia Dan district.
