Conference to meet prestigious people among ethnic minorities

On the morning of October 14, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Quang Ninh province held a conference to meet and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of prestigious people among ethnic minorities in Quang Ninh province. Comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial VFF Committee chaired the conference.

At the conference, delegates listened to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee inform about the socio-economic situation, national defense and security of the province; results of organizing the Congress of the Fatherland Front at all levels; preparations for attending the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.

Also at the conference, delegates who are prestigious people in ethnic minorities expressed their thoughts and aspirations on many issues such as: Policies to care for, support and encourage prestigious people in ethnic minorities; building and developing the economy in ethnic minority areas associated with digital transformation; implementing the protection and care of natural forests combined with planting medicinal plants under the forest canopy in economic development in ethnic minority areas; promoting propaganda and mobilizing people to preserve and promote the cultural identity of the Tay people associated with developing community tourism...

Delegates who are prestigious people among ethnic minorities presented their thoughts and aspirations at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, acknowledged the significant contributions of prestigious people among ethnic minorities in developing all aspects of socio-economics, national security and defense. Since then, the face of rural areas has changed and the lives of ethnic minorities in the province have been increasingly improved. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will receive the opinions of the delegates to synthesize and send to competent agencies and units for consideration, research, promulgation and proposal of policies, orientations and practical solutions, in order to concretize the wishes of the people, including people in ethnic minority areas in the coming time.
