Tao Dan Spring Flower Festival attracts visitors on opening day

Ho Chi Minh City - Tao Dan Spring Flower Festival opens with many unique birds, flowers, and ornamental plants, attracting a large number of people to visit and enjoy.

The 44th Spring Flower Festival was held by Ho Chi Minh City at Tao Dan Park with the theme "Spring of Love, Tet Reunion" lasting from February 6 to February 15 (ie December 27 to the 6th day of Tet).

On the opening day, hundreds of tourists from all over came to the spring flower festival to visit, admire and take photos.

The entrance fee is the same as every year at 30,000 VND for adults and free for children under 12 years old. Many families take photos to preserve the spring moments.

Inside the spring flower festival, there are many eye-catching miniatures such as heart-shaped candies and spring flowers.
Phan Khai Hoan (red shirt), a middle school student, went to the park with his family to take pictures. "Every year my family goes to the spring flower festival. This year, I saw many beautiful scenes so my family and I took pictures to post on social media," Hoan said.
Having just bought the entrance ticket, Ms. Le Phi, District 11, took photos with her husband and children to check in at the spring flower festival. "Every year, my family goes like this to have the Tet atmosphere," Ms. Phi said.

This year's Tao Dan Spring Flower Festival has many dragon mascots, symbolizing the year of the Dragon. At the entrance to Truong Dinh gate is a 3m high "Carp transforming into a dragon" symbol representing a new year of development, prosperity and abundance.

In addition, the campus also has modern stylized dragon mascots on the flower street.

The miniature landscapes on the green hills are carpets of bright flowers, colorful and cheerful musical note patterns, creating highlights for the spring flower road.

The Spring Flower Festival is divided into many separate display areas such as bonsai frangipani, apricot blossoms, tropical and temperate plants, miniature landscapes, and artistic rocks. Each area has unique bonsai trees brought in by artisans from all over.

A collection of three sculptures "Nine Dragons Fighting for a Pearl" made from solid dry tree roots by Mr. Nguyen Truong Tien. One of these works has been recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as the largest solid dry tree root work in Vietnam, and is on sale for 7.9 billion VND.

This year the spring flower festival organized a bird competition, attracting many participants.
