Attending the congress were leaders of the Provincial Veterans Association; leaders of Ninh Giang district, the Provincial Veterans Business Association and Veterans Associations of 12 districts, towns and cities in the province, along with 109 outstanding collectives and individuals selected from emulation congresses of communes and towns.
Speaking at the congress, comrade Dinh Van Truy, Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association and comrade Pham Van Khanh, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Ninh Giang District Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the emulation movement "exemplary veterans" of the Ninh Giang District Veterans Association achieved in the period of 2019-2024. The comrades suggested that in the coming time, all levels of the association should continue to thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on the patriotic emulation movement; the Party's guidelines and policies on emulation and reward work. In organizing the annual emulation movement "exemplary veterans", it is necessary to determine specific goals with practical content, suitable to the local situation.
In addition to large emulation movements, all levels of the association need to have specialized emulation movements and emulation movements in various fields to create a widespread, comprehensive and continuous movement.
At the congress, the Ninh Giang District Veterans Association agreed to implement a number of specific targets in the coming term. Strive for 95% of the association's bases to successfully complete their tasks every year, 95% or more of the members to achieve the title of "exemplary members", 98% or more of the members' families to achieve the title of "cultural family", and reduce the poverty rate by 1-1.5% according to the new standards...
At the congress, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "exemplary veterans" in the period of 2019 - 2024 were commended by the Veterans Association at all levels and the People's Committee of Ninh Giang district.
The congress also elected 10 delegates to attend the provincial "exemplary veteran" emulation congress.
After the congress, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Veterans Association organized an assessment and experience sharing.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Veterans Association suggested that, during the preparation for the congress, the local Veterans Associations should note that the reports submitted at the congress should fully state the contents of the emulation movement, have supporting data, and clarify new models and good practices. The presentations at the congress should be concise, avoiding recounting achievements but should focus on practices and propose solutions to improve the quality of the emulation movement...
