This year, the highest tuition fee for the medical and pharmaceutical majors is 250 million VND/academic year at Hong Bang International University, Ho Chi Minh City. Accordingly, the tuition fee for the English program in the Medical and Dental majors is 250 million VND/academic year. The tuition fee for the Vietnamese program is 200 million VND/academic year.
On the contrary, the school with the lowest tuition fee is Hanoi University of Business and Technology, 13.77 million VND/school year.
Regarding scholarships, most schools have many types such as: Scholarships for new students, for students with difficult circumstances or with excellent academic achievements.
There are more scholarships for new students in private schools with large support levels to attract candidates. During the study process, in all schools, students with good academic and training achievements (usually in the top 10%) will receive scholarships to encourage learning, with levels ranging from 25 - 100% of tuition fees.
For example, Hanoi Medical University has 5 types of scholarships from alumni and donors with values ranging from 4 to 20 million VND each. In addition, schools also support students to borrow money from banks to cover study and living expenses.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that universities must announce their admission scores before 5 p.m. on August 19 and notify first-round admission candidates, three days earlier than last year. By 5 p.m. on August 27, candidates must complete online admission confirmation.
