HDBank has just officially cooperated with PwC, becoming the pioneer bank in Vietnam to comprehensively implement the project "ESG Management Consulting and Sustainable Finance". 
Through this project, HDBank commits to more deeply integrating ESG principles into all aspects of the organization - from business operations, corporate governance to ESG reporting. This is the foundation for HDBank to continue to strengthen its position as a leading bank and a model of sustainable development in the financial industry. Applying ESG principles not only helps HDBank protect its achievements but also enhances stability, ensures responsibility to stakeholders, and firmly consolidates HDBank's position in the field of comprehensive banking and sustainable development. With a pioneering tradition in the field of ESG, HDBank is the first bank in Vietnam to provide green credit, build an Environmental and Social Risk Management System, and establish an ESG Committee under the Board of Directors to lead and monitor sustainable development initiatives. HDBank is also the pioneer bank to issue a separate report on sustainable development in 2024.

In addition, HDBank has been in the Top 20 of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) Sustainability Index for 6 consecutive years, and has been highly appreciated by international development finance organizations such as IFC, DEG and Proparco for its efforts in climate finance and gender equality.
