"The beauty of emotional photography" is a story told through images, a place to convey the soul and subtle emotions of the artist. The exhibition displays unique photographic works, recording the journey of discovering the beauty of nature and people of Vietnam, as well as many countries around the world through the delicate and emotional lens of author Nguyen Minh Hai.

In addition to the exhibition, the author's launch of a photo book of the same name also received enthusiastic response from readers. The book is a collection of carefully selected photos, printed in high quality, bringing viewers impressive visual experiences and meaningful stories about life, people and culture.

Photographer Minh Hai is considered a special case in the photography world when, from a teacher and a businesswoman, she became involved in photography at the age of 60 and has always been passionate about this visual art. Although she came to photography quite late, with her love and constant exploration and learning, she quickly affirmed her talent and her own style with a huge collection of works, many of which have won domestic awards from the Photography Associations in Vietnam.

Sharing at the event, photographer Nguyen Minh Hai said: "I hope that through this exhibition and photo book, I can contribute to spreading the love of photography, inspiring creativity and helping people see the hidden beauty in life around them."

Commenting on photographer Minh Hai, writer and photographer Phan Chi Thang, a colleague, wrote : “Minh Hai entered the field of photography very late, at an age when others prefer to stay home to cook and play with their grandchildren. From a teacher, a businesswoman, she picked up a camera and then could not leave it. Without going through any classes, she continuously researched and learned. Learning through books, through friends and from her own photography practice, she achieved some achievements, highly appreciated by the photography community and friends, although she always considered herself an amateur photographer. With a youthful heart, with an unconventional perspective, she traveled to many places across the country, passionately capturing nature, the country, people and heritage, preserving the soul of her homeland and the cultural traditions left by her ancestors…”.

"The beauty of emotional photography" is not only the personal mark of photographer Nguyen Minh Hai, but also a meaningful spiritual gift for art lovers. The exhibition is expected to last for 2 days, October 28-29, 2024 at the Vietnamese Women's Museum, 36 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hanoi.
