Mr. Do Trong Hau, Deputy General Director of Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT), said that after nearly 2 years of operation, the "Heritage Road" program has created a vibrant cultural exchange space, loved by people and tourists.
In order to continue promoting Vietnamese culture and the image of the friendly and hospitable destination of Da Nang to international visitors, the Company cooperated with Da Nang College of Culture and Arts to expand and renew the program "Heritage Road" towards improving quality and diversifying performances.
With extensive experience in training music, dance, painting, sculpture,... Danang College of Culture and Arts will bring to the program "Heritage Road" many unique and meaningful performances.
Passengers arriving at Da Nang International Terminal will have the opportunity to enjoy performances imbued with local culture such as: Lotus dance, traditional musical instrument ensemble, Hoi An lantern dance "Hoai Street Festival Night" , monochord solo "Arirang", Apsara dance "Sparkling ancient tower" ...
In addition to current performances from Thursday to Sunday, new shows take place from 10-11pm from Monday to Wednesday every week in the international departures isolation area.
The continued cooperation with the Da Nang College of Culture and Arts contributes to diversifying the artistic performances of the "Heritage Road", creating opportunities for students to experience, express, develop performance skills, and interact with foreign tourists. This combination will contribute significantly to preserving, promoting and further promoting local culture to international visitors, Mr. Do Trong Hau shared.
A representative of Da Nang College of Culture and Arts said: Through the program, the school hopes to contribute to spreading the beauty of Vietnamese culture to international friends and create conditions for students to have practical contact and accumulate experience on the path of artistic development. This will be an activity that contributes significantly to the development of their future careers.
The organizers hope that the “Heritage Road” program will continue to bring visitors meaningful experiences before their flights, contributing to affirming the image of Da Nang as an attractive and unique tourist destination.
Launched in December 2022, the "Heritage Road" program has become a cultural highlight at Da Nang International Terminal with more than 330 unique performances, a variety of acts such as traditional opera, dance, solo and ensemble performances of traditional musical instruments, Hue Royal Court Music, Hue Chau Van... "Heritage Road" has created a lively cultural exchange space and received much love and support from a large number of tourists.
After continuous efforts to improve facilities and enhance experiences, including promoting traditional culture with the "Heritage Road" program, on January 1, 2024, Da Nang International Terminal became the first and only terminal in Vietnam to be rated 5 stars according to Skytrax standards.
As of 2023, only 19 airports and 3 airport terminals in the world have been rated 5 stars by Skytrax.
