The Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard used the journey monitoring system to call on fishing vessels operating near the area where the ship lost contact to search; at the same time, it notified the Naval Region 3 Command, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, the Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center Region 2 and 10 Quang Binh fishing vessels to the area for support.

Due to the strengthening cold air, the Gulf of Tonkin, the sea area from Quang Tri to Phu Yen, the central and southern East Sea will have strong northeast winds of level 5-6, waves of 1.5-3 m high, and rough seas. The meteorological agency warns that all ships operating in the above sea areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves.
