The Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee has just issued Decision 1600/QD-UBND on establishing 2 working groups to inspect, urge, remove difficulties and obstacles, and promote the disbursement of public investment capital in 2024 in districts and Project Management Boards under the City People's Committee.

Accordingly, Working Group No. 1 is headed by Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung; Permanent Deputy Head is Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; along with 7 members of the Working Group who are leaders of the city's Departments and branches.
Working Group No. 1 inspected and urged the disbursement of public investment capital for key projects in 2024, including: Project to implement a number of contents to build Hai Phong City's digital government in the period of 2021 - 2025; Project to invest in the construction of Ben Rung bridge connecting Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city and Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province; Project to invest in the construction of Lai Xuan bridge and the renovation and expansion of provincial road 352; Project to invest in the construction of Do Muoi road extending to VSIP axis road and urban development in the surrounding area; Project to invest in the construction of Hai Phong Industrial College (phase 1); Project to invest in the construction of Nguyen Trai bridge and urban embellishment in the surrounding area; Project to invest in the construction of Hoa river overpass and the section through Hai Phong of the road from Thai Binh city to Nghin bridge; Investment project to build a road from Provincial Road 354, Tien Lang District to National Highway 10, Vinh Bao District; Investment project to build a Political - Administrative Center, traffic system and synchronous technical infrastructure of the North Cam River New Urban Area; Investment project to build a Conference - Performance Center, synchronous technical infrastructure system of the North Cam River New Urban Area.
Working Group No. 2 is headed by Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan; Permanent Deputy Head is Mr. Nguyen Thanh Long - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; along with 7 members of the Working Group who are leaders of the city's Departments and branches.
Working Group No. 2 inspects and urges the disbursement of public investment capital at agencies and units (except for key projects in 2024).
The main contents are to inspect and urge the disbursement of public investment capital, the results of disbursement of public investment capital in 2024 of each project, capital extended from previous years to 2024 (if any); detailed allocation of public investment capital from the budgets of districts; detailed allocation results of public investment capital in 2024; site clearance for city projects in districts; reporting difficulties, problems and proposals, recommendations (if any)...
The City People's Committee also assigned the Hai Phong State Treasury to provide information on disbursement results by the 20th of each month (or ad hoc upon request of the City People's Committee).
The Department of Planning and Investment, based on data provided monthly by the Hai Phong State Treasury, will compile a general report and compare and evaluate the disbursement situation of the agencies and units subject to inspection. The working groups will operate from now until January 2025.
