Hai Phong rewards teachers and students with high achievements

NDO - On the afternoon of March 11, Hai Phong city organized a ceremony to honor and reward teachers and students who won national excellent student awards and launched a competition to select national teams to compete in regional and international Olympic competitions and the National Science and Technology Competition in 2025.

This is the first time Hai Phong has had a total of more than 100 awards at the national excellent student competition.

With a total of 102 prizes, including: 7 first prizes, 24 second prizes, 37 third prizes and 34 consolation prizes, ranking 3rd nationwide, affirming the internal strength and continuous improvement of Hai Phong education.

On this occasion, Hai Phong city spent more than 5.2 billion VND to reward teachers and students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of Hai Phong education sector in teaching and training excellent students.

The Vice Chairman of the city affirmed that the above achievements are due to the great efforts of the management staff, teachers who directly teach and train, the care and attention of parents, and the constant efforts of the students in studying and training.

Along with the results achieved in the national excellent student selection exam; in the 2024-2025 school year, the Hai Phong education sector is honored to have 3 students selected to participate in the national team selection exam to compete in international and regional Olympic competitions, in the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology; 3 projects participating in the National Science and Technology Competition of An Duong High School and Tran Phu High School for the Gifted.
