With a total investment of VND 2,500 billion, Pullman Hai Phong Grand Hotel (Hai Phong) is the first flagship hotel of this brand in Vietnam, contributing to positioning the tourism brand of the city of red phoenix flowers.

After 7 months of trial operation, Pullman Hai Phong Grand Hotel officially came into operation in March 2025. This is the first flagship hotel of the Pullman brand in Vietnam, and also the flagship hotel of Hai Phong.
To be labeled as the "flagship" face of a destination, a hotel needs to fully meet the following factors: the latest and most modern facilities and infrastructure according to 5-star standards; MICE standards; and meet current and future tourism trends.
The hotel expects to be at the forefront of the increasingly popular trend of combining tourism with business trips, especially MICE guests.
Mr. Le Anh Quan, permanent vice chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee, said that Hai Phong currently has 551 accommodation establishments, Pullman Hai Phong Grand Hotel is the city's 7th 5-star hotel.
"When put into operation, the hotel will contribute to upgrading the city's tourism services, attracting high-end services combined with conferences and seminars," Mr. Quan commented.
According to Mr. Bui Thanh Tu, marketing director of BestPrice, flagship hotels are not only a place to stay but also a driving force to promote sustainable tourism, enhance destinations and bring long-term benefits to both tourists and local communities.
"In Vietnam, these hotels are contributing to promoting the country's image to the world, while also creating healthy competition in the tourism industry. For example, the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi has partly helped position the destination brand as imbued with the culture and history of the capital," said Mr. Tu.

In Hai Phong, food tours have become a tourism brand of the city of red phoenix flowers. Street food tours combined with train travel continuously attract tourists of all ages.

In 2024, Hai Phong welcomed more than 9.1 million domestic and international tourists. In 2025, Hai Phong tourism aims to serve 10 million tourists.
