The appointment of this key official was made after the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training took over the function of vocational education management from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training merged the Department of Primary Education and the Department of Secondary Education into the Department of General Education.
Appoint Ms. Lam Hong Lam Thuy, Head of the Department of Primary Education, as Head of the Department of General Education.
Ms. Lam Hong Lam Thuy was born in 1977 and has a master's degree in educational management. Before being appointed as Head of the Department of Primary Education in 2021, Ms. Thuy worked as Deputy Head of the Department of Primary Education; Principal of Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School (District 1), Principal of Nguyen Thai Hoc Primary School (District 1); Teacher of Le Ngoc Han Primary School (District 1).
In addition, the department also appointed the following officers:
Mr. Cao Minh Quy - Head of the Department of Continuing - Vocational and University Education - was appointed as Head of the Department of Continuing - Vocational and University Education. Previously, Mr. Quy was Deputy Head of the Department of Secondary Education, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh - Head of the Department of Vocational Education, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - was appointed as Deputy Head of the Department of Continuing - Vocational and University Education (under the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City).
Mr. Pham Phuong Binh - Deputy Head of the Department of Continuing - Vocational and University Education - was appointed Deputy Head of the Department of Continuing - Vocational and University Education.
Ms. Vu Phuong Loan - Deputy Head of the Department of Vocational Education, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - was appointed Deputy Head of the Department of Continuing - Vocational and University Education.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Huy - Deputy Head of Secondary Education Department - was appointed Deputy Head of General Education Department.
Mr. Pham Quang Tam - Deputy Head of Secondary Education Department - was appointed Deputy Head of General Education Department.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Thien Hoang - Deputy Head of Primary Education Department - was appointed to the position of Deputy Head of General Education Department.
Appoint Ms. Lai Thi Bich Tram - Deputy Chief of Office, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - to hold the position of Deputy Chief of Office, Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Phan Ky Quan Triet - Deputy Head of Vocational Education Department, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - holds the position of Deputy Head of Financial Planning, Education and Training Department of Ho Chi Minh City.
