President Volodymir Zelensky needs to start negotiations to resolve the conflict with Russia. This was announced to the press by Verkhovna Rada Deputy Speaker Yevgeny Shevchenko.
Accordingly, the West will force Mr. Zelensky to leave. Politician Shevchenko emphasized that it is time to start dialogue.
“The country is more important than personal ambitions. I will do anything if it happens. I will go to Minsk again. We will solve everything. Just start. If you do not want to, they will force you to leave. And those who welcomed you yesterday in the countries of the Western world will quickly forget about you,” Evgeny Shevchenko stressed.

US supports Zelensky's intention to start peace talks
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said on November 7 that Washington will support Ukrainian President Zelensky if he wishes to start peace negotiations with Russia.
“If… Mr. Zelensky decides to engage in negotiations, of course, we will support this,” US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller affirmed.
The US diplomat clarified that Washington does not intend to impose any deadlines on the Ukrainian President to engage in peace dialogue with Moscow. In addition, Miller noted that this decision should be made by Kiev, not Washington.
“At the same time, we do not see any indication that the Russian leadership intends to block the opening of negotiations,” added Matthew Miller.
Ukrainian President shares how to “force Moscow to negotiate”
In October 2024, the Ukrainian leader unveiled a proposal to offer Kiev a comprehensive non-nuclear strategic deterrent package, which, in Zelensky's view, would force Moscow to negotiate.
“This is about the corresponding missile package. We will provide all the details to those partners who can do this. These are the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy,” the Ukrainian President stressed.
In addition, the Ukrainian leader said it was necessary to immediately send Kiev an invitation to join NATO, adding that joining the organization would take place later.
By November 7, US President-elect Donald Trump's Working Group had begun discussing a plan to end the conflict in Ukraine.
Mr Trump has previously said he has a “very ambitious” plan to “guarantee” an end to the conflict in Ukraine, but that he would only reveal it if he won. The former US president has refused to reveal details of his plan for fear of not being able to carry it out, stressing that a key part of the initiative is surprise.
10,000 AFU soldiers are surrounded in Kursk
At the 21st annual meeting of the Valdai Club in Sochi, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that 10,000 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are in the Kursk “cooker”.
According to him, the AFU's losses in the Kursk region were greater than during the entire period of the special operation. “Why are they sitting there taking such losses? Because it was ordered from abroad: Kursk must be held at all costs, at least until the elections,” Putin said.
The Russian President believes that in Ukraine, decisions are made for political purposes and not for the benefit of the country's people.
Earlier, the Russian President said that AFU troops were surrounded in the Kursk region in an area of about 6×15 km. A reliable encirclement has been created around the Ukrainian forces and is continuing to narrow.
Kurakhove in sight
The Military Summary channel reported that the Russian army is advancing deeper and deeper into the south of Donetsk. The AFU has been unable to maintain stability on the front line, continuously losing important cities, villages and towns.
North of Kurakhove, the threat of a larger encirclement became increasingly apparent and the AFU had to retreat to preserve its forces. However, the Russians were advancing further west and were getting closer to the village of Zoria.
The Siversk frontline is also still very hot. Russian troops are advancing along the hills north of Ivano-Darivka. The offensive is aimed at capturing the heights in the north to pave the way for further military operations.
The RVvoenkory channel confirmed that the Russian army had broken through to Sontsovka, bypassing Kurakhove from the north.
“The situation is getting more and more serious in Kurakhove. Russian troops are attacking Sontsovka,” a Ukrainian officer nicknamed Alex informed.
A soldier nicknamed Muchnoy also confirmed information about the battles for the village of Berestky on the shore of the Kurakhove reservoir. Fighting will soon begin in the east, towards the settlement of Stari Terny.
“If the Sontsovka and Stary Terny defense lines fall, we can assume that all roads to Kurakhove from the north will be cut off, leaving the AFU with only one safe route south of the river to Zaporizhia,” Muchnoy said.
TobiAyodele channel reported that the Russian side continued to bypass Kurakhove from the north and south, striking directly at the AFU rear. Obviously, the Russian army is trying to surround this strategic city from two sides.
Once the troops are surrounded at Andriivka and Kostiantynopil, the entire AFU force group will be like “a fish in a basket”.
