Earth Hour 2025: Thai Binh saves 28,300 kWh of electricity

With the spreading effect of the Earth Hour event, carrying the message "Green transition - Green future" after 1 hour of power off from 20:30 - 21:30 on March 22, 2025, the electricity usage capacity of the whole Thai Binh province decreased by 7.62% compared to normal days (Capacity at 21:00 on normal days (March 21, 2025) is 371.2 MW, capacity at 21:00 on March 22, 2025 is 342.9 MW) decreased by 28.3 MW. The electricity saved during the Earth Hour event in 2025 is: 28,300 kWh.

Officers and staff of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting (Department of Industry and Trade) participated in the Earth Hour event in 2025.

Earth Hour is an annual international event initiated by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) since 2007. Not just stopping at 1 hour of turning off the lights, Earth Hour 2025 continues to convey a strong message about awareness of saving electricity, saving energy, protecting the environment and responding to climate change, towards a green, clean and beautiful planet.
