Comrade Nguyen Manh Dung, Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired at the Ha Giang province bridge; also attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; Standing members of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, comrade Truong Thi Mai emphasized: This is the first time the Standing Secretariat has organized a Conference between the Standing Secretariat and the Secretaries of Provincial and Municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Government to listen to reports from the provinces and municipal Party Committees on the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; Resolution of the Party Committees of provinces and cities for the 2020-2025 term; the implementation of directives and resolutions of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Committee; Reports on the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of the year and the deployment of tasks in the last 6 months of the year of the Party Committees of provinces and cities. This is an important conference for the Secretaries of provinces and cities to report and exchange experiences in leading and directing the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security; At the same time, he proposed to the Central Committee to remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Party Congresses of provinces and cities for the 2020-2025 term. He said that the meeting between the Standing Secretariat and the Secretaries of the provinces and centrally-run cities will be held every 6 months.
According to the report of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, in the past half term and the first 6 months of 2023, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee have issued resolutions, directives, programs and plans to concretize, lead and direct the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat in accordance with the practical situation of the province. Focus on leading and directing the implementation of the breakthroughs of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress. At the same time, strengthen the work of Party building and the political system; lead socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security in the province.
Based on reports from provinces and cities; opinions discussed at the bridge points, and the conference conclusion, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai assessed that in the last 6 months of the year, the world situation had many fluctuations that negatively affected our country, so she requested that provinces and cities identify and closely assess the situation to have appropriate leadership and direction solutions. She also highly appreciated some localities for implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; Resolutions of provincial Party Committees for the 2020-2025 term with quite positive results. However, some localities still achieved low targets. Regarding the tasks for the last 6 months of the year and the remaining half of the term, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai requested the Secretaries of Provincial Party Committees, City Party Committees, and heads of Party Committees at all levels to carry out the 6 key tasks directed by the Politburo. Find solutions, proactively implement targets and tasks for 2023. Prepare well the contents for the 8th Central Conference, after the conference, resolutely implement the Central Committee's resolutions. Actively and seriously participate in knowledge update classes organized by the Central Committee. Focus on comprehensively implementing all aspects of Party building work; focus on overcoming the situation of cadres being afraid of responsibility, shirking work, not daring to do; learn from events that cause political insecurity and social order and safety; focus on thoroughly resolving incidents that risk becoming hot spots.
Regarding the proposals and recommendations of localities, comrade Truong Thi Mai requested the Central Party Office to synthesize and request relevant ministries and branches to receive and resolve them and respond to localities within 15 days.
