With the support of preferential policies and innovative solutions, cooperatives in the province have made significant progress, especially in the fields of agriculture, processing and services. Thereby, contributing to promoting the development of sustainable cooperation models, expanding market linkages, improving product quality, and developing a green and sustainable economy.

Comrade Lo Thi My, Chairwoman of the Provincial Cooperative Union, said: Many effective cooperative models have become bright spots in the collective economic development of the province. Agricultural, service, handicraft and agricultural processing cooperatives have contributed significantly to creating jobs and increasing income for people. Some typical cooperatives include: Shan Tuyet Tea Cooperative with a tea growing area of 2,500 hectares, an output of 4,500 tons/year, a medicinal cooperative with an annual revenue of over 20 billion VND, and an organic livestock and crop cooperative that helps increase the value of local specialty products, while promoting the development of clean and sustainable agriculture.
In addition to developing production, the Cooperative Union also focuses on promoting links between cooperatives and enterprises, forming sustainable value chains. Cooperation with large corporations and enterprises in and outside the province helps cooperatives access resources, technology and larger markets. At the same time, the Cooperative Union also supports cooperatives in participating in trade promotion programs, connecting domestic and foreign product consumption. Notably, more than 50% of cooperatives in the province have products that meet OCOP standards of 3 stars or higher, helping to enhance the value and brand of the province's agricultural products.

In order to further promote the role of cooperatives in collective economic development, the Cooperative Union continues to propose many important solutions. The focus is on improving the quality of cooperative operations, promoting the application of science and technology in production, building product brands and expanding consumption markets. It is expected that the province will support at least 30 cooperatives to access preferential loans and train 500 more cooperative staff in product management and development skills.
However, the development of collective economy in the province still faces many difficulties and challenges such as limited management capacity, lack of investment capital and difficulties in finding stable consumption markets. To overcome these difficulties, it is necessary to have strong participation from all levels, sectors and local authorities, support from financial institutions and proactive innovation from cooperatives themselves.
