From January 1, 2021 to August 31, 2023, the administrative reform work of the Department of Justice has achieved many positive results, contributing significantly to the implementation of professional tasks.
Accordingly, the work of reviewing, reducing processing time, and proposing to reduce the components of administrative procedure records has been effectively implemented by the unit. From 2021 to present, the Department of Justice has reviewed 18 administrative procedures according to the annual issuance plan. The processing time of these administrative procedures has basically been halved by the Department compared to the Decision on promulgating administrative procedures of the Ministry of Justice and current legal regulations.
Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications Duong Van Tuan commented on some contents related to digital transformation and application of information technology in performing tasks.
After reviewing, the Department of Justice has prepared a report requesting the Provincial People's Committee to recommend the central agency to simplify the dossier components of 8/18 administrative procedures; reduce the implementation procedures for 2/18 administrative procedures.
The unit always pays attention to updating and announcing administrative procedures and advising the Provincial People's Committee to announce the list of administrative procedures under the management of the industry in a timely manner based on the decisions to standardize administrative procedures of the Ministry of Justice.
100% of administrative procedures are updated, posted and made public on the national database of administrative procedures, the national public service portal, the provincial administrative procedure settlement information system and the department's electronic information portal in accordance with regulations.

In addition, the Department of Justice also advised the Provincial People's Committee to announce a list of 32 administrative procedures under the jurisdiction of the District People's Committee and 44 administrative procedures under the jurisdiction of the Commune People's Committee.
The unit regularly maintains and implements training and quality improvement for civil servants and public employees, ensuring compliance with legal regulations. Thereby, it contributes significantly to improving the qualifications and capacity of civil servants and public employees and effectively performing assigned tasks; meeting the requirements of administrative reform, contributing to building a professional and modern administration.
During the discussion at the supervision session, delegates focused on analyzing and clarifying a number of contents on organizational structure; reform of the civil service regime; reform of public finance; capacity and ethics of civil servants, especially those who directly handle administrative procedures for organizations and individuals.
Contents such as: implementation of propaganda, dissemination of legal education; digital transformation work of the industry; coordination with units in handling administrative procedures... were also of interest to delegates.

At the same time, it is emphasized that in the coming time, the Department of Justice needs to continue to do a good job of advising the province in issuing legal documents; reviewing and helping competent authorities amend and supplement the list and internal procedures of administrative procedures under the management authority of the judicial sector. Strengthening inspection work, strengthening discipline and administrative order, enhancing the responsibility of civil servants and public employees in performing their duties and the responsibility of heads of agencies.
