This year's tournament has 9 participating teams. The host team is Sport Center I (Vietnam national team) and the teams are: Hisamitsu Springs (Japan), Liaoning Donghua (China), Diamond Food Fine Chef Sport Club (Thailand), King Whale Taipei (Taiwan), Paykan (Iran), Altay (Kazakhstan), Khuvsgul Erchim (Mongolia), Hip Hing VC (Hong Kong).

The Organizing Committee will award trophies and medals to the teams ranked first, second, third and individual prizes. The winning team will represent Asia at the 2023 World Club Volleyball Championship in China. On the evening of April 25, after the opening ceremony, a match took place between
the Vietnamese women's volleyball team and the Paykan team of Iran. After 5 rounds, the Vietnamese women's team won 3-2 against their opponents.

Previously, the match took place between the Mongolian team Khuvsgul Erchim Women's Club, which lost 0-3 to the Chinese team Liaoning Donghuac, and the Kazakhstani team Altay, which won 3-2 against the Thai team Diamond Food Fine. The stadium stands were packed with fans, creating a passionate cheering atmosphere. This is the first Asian volleyball tournament in 2023. The Vietnam Volleyball Federation has coordinated with Vinh Phuc province to prepare the best conditions for a successful organization. Volleyball fans across the country can also watch the matches on the sports channel of Vietnam Cable Television and on digital platforms.
