According to Mr. Tong Xuan Chinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry, with a total herd of 29 million pigs, there is no need to worry about supply during the Lunar New Year 2024. The biggest concern is still when prices will increase, improving income for farmers and profits for businesses.
There is no serious problem with production at the moment, only concern with consumption. The epidemic is not as severe anymore because over the years, the toxins have gradually decreased and are no longer as strong as when they first appeared.
