On the afternoon of December 6, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police said that recently, a number of stores and businesses in Chiem Hoa district received phone calls and text messages from individuals impersonating officers of the District Military Command to book parties, buy goods, military equipment, etc.
To gain trust from shop owners, the subjects sent purchase reports with fake signatures and stamps of the Chiem Hoa District Military Command via Facebook and Zalo.

According to the police, this is a serious violation of the law and negatively affects the reputation and honor of military officers and soldiers.
To prevent the operation of this type of crime, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police advise people to be cautious with people who contact to buy goods on social networks (Facebook, Zalo...), and need to clearly verify the person and address when conducting transactions.
"When receiving calls or messages from strangers claiming to be police officers, military officers or state agency officers to order gifts, request information, or ask for help, people should immediately contact the nearest police agency, military command or state agency for instructions," Tuyen Quang Provincial Police recommended.
