Officers of Tuyen Quang Customs Branch receive and process business documents via the VNACCS/VCIS automatic customs clearance system.
Right from the beginning of the year, Tuyen Quang Customs Branch has organized the development and implementation of key work programs and plans to carry out assigned tasks. The unit has proactively and seriously implemented customs management, supporting and facilitating businesses. Comrade Luong Trung Kien, Head of Tuyen Quang Customs Branch, said that the unit focuses on the main groups of solutions: attracting new businesses to increase revenue and retaining old businesses to ensure revenue; reforming administrative procedures and modernizing state budget collection, and controlling smuggling. The unit has assigned staff to work directly with businesses to propagate and remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses in the process of implementing import and export procedures.
In Tuyen Quang province, there are currently more than 20 enterprises that have procedures through the Customs Branch. The main import and export items are: Chemicals, machinery and equipment, garment accessories, PP packaging, PP canvas, wood products, base paper, phone headphones, tea... In addition to solutions to increase State budget revenue, Tuyen Quang Customs Branch continues to resolutely and effectively implement solutions to prevent tax loss through strengthening inspection and strict supervision of import and export goods, preventing fraud, especially in declaring goods name, quantity, code, value, tax rate.
In business management, thanks to promoting administrative reform, applying information technology and promoting the implementation of digital customs, smart customs has helped shorten the time for customs clearance of goods; reduce logistics costs, improve competitiveness, and save time and costs for businesses.
Support for customs procedures has facilitated the export of products of Song Lo Tea Joint Stock Company.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, a dossier receiving officer at Tuyen Quang Customs Branch, said: “On average, the one-stop department receives and processes about 30 dossiers per day. We mainly receive and process dossiers of enterprises through the VNACCS/VCIS automatic customs clearance system. After many years of applying digital technology in customs clearance, for enterprises in the green lane, it only takes a few seconds to clear customs immediately. As for units having difficulties in the import and export process, we will quickly answer questions through gmail, zalo, and web applications and thoroughly resolve difficulties with import and export procedures.”
Mr. Pham Xuan Huong, Director of Tuyen Quang Mechanical Joint Stock Company, said that the company's products are mainly exported, so procedures often arise at Tuyen Quang Customs Branch. However, during the procedure, the problems of enterprises are immediately answered and guided by the customs agency. If previously they had to wait for the dialogue period, now the direct answers and instructions anytime, anywhere via the internet have helped save time and timely support for enterprises to meet the conditions for delivery to partners.
The state budget revenue from import-export activities is forecasted to continue to face many difficulties. Therefore, Tuyen Quang Customs Branch will continue to reform administrative procedures, customs procedures, ensure state management of customs, prevent and combat trade fraud; improve effectiveness and efficiency in performing tasks. At the same time, ensure a full legal basis for the construction and implementation of digital customs and smart customs models. Thereby, contributing to facilitating import-export enterprises, supporting trade promotion, contributing to the province's economic growth target.
