Mr. Nguyen Van Thu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GC Food, shared that in the journey towards a green, sustainable agriculture, determined to build aloe vera products to achieve national brands, in recent years, GC Food has "had a relationship" with Ninh Thuan, a province that used to face prolonged heat, limited water resources and difficult farming conditions. This is a big challenge for many businesses, but for GC Food, it is a golden opportunity, very favorable for growing aloe vera with drought-resistant biological properties, not only bringing stable productivity but also helping to save 40% of water compared to other crops. Moreover, Ninh Thuan province has invested in 23 interconnected lakes and dams, with a capacity of more than 414 million m3 of irrigation water, so GC Food is very confident in production, solving the problem of water shortage in aloe vera growing and processing areas.
GC Food's aloe vera is grown in My Son commune (Ninh Son).
In addition, to realize the goal of building a national brand of aloe vera products, GC Food also strives to invest in factories with modern equipment and technology; deploy a closed production process chain, develop a circular agricultural economic model, utilize waste from the production process to create organic fertilizers, contribute to reducing waste and promoting an environmentally friendly production chain... At the same time, proactively develop aloe vera growing areas and link production, instructing farmers on biological farming techniques to contribute to improving the output and quality of agricultural products, bringing high economic efficiency to businesses and people. To date, GC Food has built an aloe vera raw material area of more than 250 hectares in Ninh Thuan, becoming the largest aloe vera production "capital" in the country and owning the largest aloe vera factory in Vietnam.

With a long-term vision, strategic thinking, and a methodical and scientific production and business plan, GC Food has proactively sourced stable raw materials, consuming more than 35,000 tons of fresh aloe vera leaves each year to produce 15,000 tons of aloe vera jelly with a strict production process that meets FSSC 22000, ISO, HALAL standards... and exporting to more than 20 countries such as Japan, Korea, some European countries, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia... Thereby, contributing to creating jobs for 500 local workers, with a stable income of 8-10 million VND/month.
With impressive production and business results, in the first 9 months of 2024, GCFood recorded net revenue of more than VND 432 billion and after-tax profit of nearly VND 55 billion, exceeding the set plan. Compared to the same period last year, the company's revenue increased by 17% and profit increased by 137%, marking the highest profit ever.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thu added that in the coming time, GC Food will continue to innovate thinking and create on the basis of science and technology, expand investment scale and commit to product quality; proactively connect and provide technical guidance to farmers, expand the aloe vera growing area in Ninh Thuan to about 1,000 hectares by 2030; comply with environmental, social and corporate governance principles to improve the quality of agricultural products; promote exports, access demanding international markets, conquer strict standards on food safety and environmental protection associated with job creation for local people. Thereby, contributing to enhancing the brand of aloe vera products grown on the land that converges the different values of Ninh Thuan province to enter the "green era" towards producing clean, safe and environmentally friendly products.
