Nearly 200 athletes participate in the 2nd Bac Ninh Province Women's Volleyball Tournament

(BTV) Towards the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27) and continuing to promote the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", on the morning of March 14, the Provincial Women's Union (PPU) organized the 2nd Bac Ninh Provincial Women's Volleyball Tournament in 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Tran Thi Hang, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Xuan Loi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women; Ha Sy Tiep, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

The 2nd Women's Volleyball Tournament of Bac Ninh Province in 2025 has the participation of 20 Volleyball Teams from the Women's Union of 8 districts/towns/cities, the Women's Union of the Public Security, the Provincial Military Command and the Women's Union of the Provincial Labor Federation with nearly 200 athletes in two age groups: over 45 years old and from 18 to 45 years old. The teams are divided into groups, competing in 2 age groups and applying the 2014 Volleyball Competition Rules. With careful preparation, solidarity and fairplay, the athletes competed with all their might, giving the audience good plays, beautiful passes and receiving enthusiastic cheers from a large number of fans.

Through the tournament, it aims to create a healthy and useful playground for female cadres and members to exchange and learn, thereby contributing to improving the quality of the mass sports movement at the grassroots level; in particular, each woman actively responds to and well implements the criterion of "Having health" of the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese Women of the new era" with the criteria of having health, having knowledge, having morality, having responsibility for oneself, family and society" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.
